IP Multicast

A service that delivers content with high efficiency to multiple points in a single transmission.
It makes effective use of the bandwidth in the access line.
It is available on the IPv4/IPv6/Dual connection service.

In general Internet communication, the sender and the recipient are connected one on one. When sending the same content to multiple destinations, packets of the same content are transmitted from multiple sources. That could result in waste of line bandwidth or poor quality.

SINET multicast service delivers content to multiple points in a single transmission. It sends the content to a multicast group address and the SINET backbone router copies packets only when it is necessary to do so.
